The scratching lath pad is supplied complete with end caps and requires only a self-adhesive claw scratch mat. The claw scratching pad can be a one-piece carpet with a self-adhesive backing, or a sheathing with hook-and-loop Velcro tape on the sides.

Sticking with self-adhesive sheathing:

1 try on by attaching the mat between the end caps, placing the shorter side close to the caps

2 start tearing off the protective film along the long side,

3 place the long edge of the mat flush with the back of the lath

4 and stick the mat to the short flat side of lath

5 remove the protective film, and as the film is removed, press the mat

6 gradually removing off the protective film, press the self-adhesive mat to the lath until it is adhering completely
